Excessive sweating is a medical condition called hyperhidrosis. It is characterized by sweating a lot which may be non-stop all day through. The affected person may even despite the cold sweat temperature. Excessive sweating may also occur when the affected person is stressed, nervous or anxious.

Excessive sweating may affect patients not only physically but also socially and psychologically as well. Most patients do not derive from the social scene, cutting their social life off because they are embarrassed to have contracted the disease. Psychologically, the disease can destroy self-esteem of those affected. When they have low opinions of themselves, they often hide themselves and thus do not open themselves up to the construction of new relationships with others.
There are treatments for excessive sweating. Solution of aluminum chloride can be used to reduce the amount of sweat that would be released. This solution can be found in many antiperspirants, which may be prescribed by doctors. However, this may not be fully effective for excessive sweating of hands and feet.
Users should also prepare for the irritation skin. Endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy or ETS is a surgical procedure that can be taken to cure the disease. This will work on transpiration excessive underarm. This will remove the sweat glands in that area. However, this result to May side effects as excessive sweating on back, legs, thighs and abdomen, which is another episode of problem.
Oral medications can be taken as the solution disease. For example, Ditropan can be taken to reduce transpiration, but its side effects include dry mouth and drowsiness.
